Scavenger Hunt Sunday - April 8

I am a little late joining,

but here is this week's hunt.

1. New

Here is a new little bird that I got this

week and he is my favourite colour.

2. Life

I thought this amaryllis was dead but it

sprouted again this week. It must

have some LIFE left in it.

3. Fragrant

Some fragrant vanilla-scented candles..

4. Pink

Just a couple of the pinks in my daughters

room. A night light and a polka dot.

5. Obvious

It is quite obvious which plant grows the

best in our yard.

We spent a quiet Easter at home

this year with just part of our family.

Today was grocery day. That is

everyone's favourite

day of the week.

Friday April 7, 2012 - Creating

My creative nine year old is

always making something.

This is a bracelet that she

made from magazine pages.

Since it was Good Friday holiday,

we decided to make a bunting/banner

to hang in the window.

We are really happy with the way it turned out.

April 5 - A Touch of Spring

Recently, when my father moved, we

were blessed to receive the

couches that he no longer wanted.

They were in great shape

but just a little "senior citizen

flowery" for us.

So, we have had

them reupholstered and I thought

that I would share some

before and after pictures.
