Lee, I have been watching a small barn similar to this all year long on my drive back and forth to school. Today I decided to go over and straighten out my room, and almost ran off the road when I saw it. GONE!!! Totally on the ground. I was crushed. Thank goodness I have been photographing it for weeks so have lots of older shots of it. Here one day and gone the next. So sad. Looks like the owner is piling up the wood to use somewhere else. So, now you understand why your post is so meaningful to me. I hope it dos not does the way of my barn...will post it next week. Genie

This barn is a definite goner! I guess no one needs it anymore. ;(

Yes, I think beyond repair would be an accurate description! The silo looks good.
Not much left of that one - but the silo is standing strong!
so many barns have been abandoned, beautiful old wood!!!
Wow! These walls couldn't talk at all! They got up and moved to another area. Makes me wonder if the were reclaimed for another building project?
I completely agree, it was nice at one time, but I still love seeing these old falling down barns... what once was, ya know! =)
Thank you very much for continuing to join in on Barn Charm
This looks like it was a prosperous farm at one time. It's sad to see it falling down and forgotten.
