Barn Charm Monday -April 2, 2012

A nice barn cluster in Ontario, Canada

I am not sure what this tower is.

This is the pump house for the well from the last picture.

This is a kind of funky little building.

The other half of the cluster.

And...

This is a bonus for you barn lovers. It is
a vintage roof top complete with rooster
weather vane.

Hi Lee,

The barn is gorgeous & the blue sky & green grass really add to the beauty of the shots, but I'm seriously curious about the tower structure... if you find out what it is or what it was used for, please let us know!
Now, I'm also wondering about the vintage rooftop piece...

Thanks so much for joining =)

I was hoping someone had a clue about the tower, too. On the way to Arthur, Illinois, there is a brick tower about this size and I have always wondered what it was for. Or what it had been. It has windows, though and this one doesn't seem to have any.

The red doors on the otherwise plain barn are fantastic! Love the rooster weather vane roof top, too. Beautiful shots, Lee!

Makes you wonder what's behind the red door. It really pops. I love weather vanes. - Margy

Sorry to be so late commenting on your post. School took it all out of me this week. I really need to retire...73 is old enough don’t you think? You really hit the jackpot with this cluster of barns and outbuildings. Boy, does that red door stand out! Maybe the tower is where they stored corn. It appears to be a well worked farm and a great find. genie
